UBUNTU Foundation is dedicated to the education and support of indigenous peoples who have lost their traditional territories and sources of livelihood.


UBUNTU Foundation in particular supports the San People in Southern Africa by strengthening the San’s awareness of their own culture and traditions and by training them in general life skills needed to generate income.


UBUNTU Foundation has been in partnership with the San organization WIMSA since 1998 in the establishment of
!Khwa ttu, the San Culture & Education Centre located north of Cape Town, South Africa. A few smaller organisations in Southern Africa have been supported so far.


UBUNTU Foundation is committed to the principle of cultural diversity and respect for the fundamental human rights of individuals and groups.
